A successful congress for Carbonapp

As companies are increasingly faced with the urgency of transforming their governance and business models towards an environmental transition, the first three days of June saw the arrival of a brand new event: the first CSR Congress.

Designed to encourage meetings and synergies between organisations, this event aims to bring together all stakeholders in corporate CSR, researchers and teachers from the academic world, as well as suppliers/exhibitors. The aim is not only to give CSR the recognition it deserves, but also to develop discussions between these three distinct sectors, to see the emergence of new ideas and solutions, and thus to accelerate the ecological transition.

It is within this pool of knowledge and opportunities that Carbonapp saw the opportunity to announce the launch of its new web platform. Designed to be a meeting point between organisations and project owners, the innovative nature of this platform was highly praised by the jury. Both for the simplification of project sourcing, the easy access to information with more than 100 projects being referenced, whether labelled low-carbon or in the process of, and its technical specificities.

This enthusiasm was matched by the results, as Carbonapp was awarded the Environmental Innovation Trophy (pollution, prevention, ecology) by Bruno Morin, CSR Consultant Manager at Ecovolution.

For Carbonapp, this trophy is more than an award, it is the recognition of a year and a half of hard work and perseverance since our first steps in the voluntary offset business. But as we are already accustomed to saying: we cannot stop there. See you on September 13 and 14, 2022 at the Produrable trade exhibition in Paris for the next version of our platform, which will include new functionalities for both CSR managers and our partners in order to facilitate the most local and meaningful offsetting projects.
